I just installed my Interceptor the other night. I set it at around 25-30 psi increase because I do not want to run a significant risk of a) Transmission damage and B) Engine/tranny bounce until my engine mounts are in. Does anyone else have any examples of the settings for the PSI they have on their everyday Cavy? Does my number setting sound alright or what? Thanks again....

Has the new interceptor have pressure settings on it now or do you have a seperate gauge mounted on your tranny ? The one I have has only a screw with no calibration markings.
Took mine off as it was giving the engine drive train too much of a hard time.
Mine actually only has the 4 internal sleeves and prongs. You set the psi by different combinations of the sleeve coverings.

I'ev never heard of this model of Interceptor... the "old ones" used to have two dials... the newer ones only had one.
Sleeves... prongs...?
Yeah,
And even on the 'new' ones, the other dial was still there if you took the cover off.
Gonna have to give us a pic of this PSI interceptor.
Or a part number or something.

Remember....syringes go in the RED waste basket.
I'm interested in seeing pics of this new one too...

The prongs I am talking about are in the lower right corner of the device. The black sleeves are slid over the prongs in a certain pattern to determine psi settings... I thought that the two silver dots in the upper right would have been the dials...but they were soldered over.... any ideas?

Hmmm... never seen that model before. Must be a new one. Sorry, can't help much
Sure it's the one for the 4T40E?
Figures lol... yeah the paperwork was for the 4T40E.
