Newb ? about the Autotrans Intercepter
Sunday, February 12, 2006 3:56 AM
I recently purchased an Autotrans Interceptor for my 04 Sunfire. My friend has one installed in his 99 Grand Am, he say it allows him to shift his auto like a manual. I didn't think thats what the intercepter did, I thought it just made your transmission perform better. Is he full of crap and prolly gonna have to invest in a new transmission soon?

The Autotrans Interceptor is alot like the B&M ShiftPlus. The difference is the Interceptor keeps the computer happy so you can manually adjust the line pressure for quicker more firm shifts. Its more for someone who wants to fine tune how firm it shifts.

I personally liked the B&M shiftplus, easy to install and I could change the shift firmness with a switch in the cab.

I love Modding!!
