I was at a stop light when i started off in 1st then went to shift into 2nd. but no go. the tranny wouldn't let the stick into that gear. all the other gears engaged correctly. clutch only has like 400 miles on it, so it shouldn't be bad. what to do? thanks n advance for any help.
never mind. i found it. mechanic didn't tighten the retaining bolt on the cable where it meets the tranny linkage. loose cable = no 2nd gear.
