Hey everyone ive got the 2200 with the 3 speed slug tranny and i flat out love drivin a stick, so what it would it roughly cost to have a shop swap in the tranny for me? unless anyone does them I know theres a topic on this but it doesnt give any estimates on pricing so thats all Im askin? Ima 17 year old senior in high school so money is def an object lol thx
At a local performance shop i got it priced at around a thousand if i included parts.
But if you can spare a couple of weeks not driving your car you can do it. heres a list of what you will need
clutch pedal assembly
cutch fluid reservoir and master cylinder
tranny/clutch
aaxles
shifter assembly and interior console
shift cables and lines
tranny mounts
fluids for tranny
slave cynlinder
new plumbing for the tranny
it is doable but its gonna take some work.
