My wife was driving down the road last night and there was this Clicking noise coming from the transmission..... the faster you went the faster the noise.....anyone have any idea what this could be
Ps its a 98 cavalier 5 speed with a 2.2
Check the ends of the axles, and see if either of the CV boots are ripped. Could be a bad CV joint.
both inner cvs were bad and i replaced them and it still makes the noise my wife had to take it on the highway and she said it was louder than the exhaust(no cat and a 2.5 flowmaster really loud)
