fidanza vs B&M

Just looking around the net, I noticed that you can get a fidanza short shifter for $80 and the B&M is $140. I have heard good things from people on this site about the Fidanza. Why should I spend $60 more to get the B&M. I know the Fidanza doesn't come with a knob, but I'm gonna change that anyways.

Fidanza no longer comes with a knob. This has been this way for 4-6 months already. Also the Fidanza is on a 6-8 week national back order right now. B&M is in stock at www.TurboTechRacing.com

Also, there is a guy with 14 of them on ebay for the 04 cav I have. Could these be fakes or could he actually have some?

He might have them, we cant get any more from fidanza for 6-8 weeks as they are out of stock. They make them in china or somewhere over seas.

Also, wanted to add that the Fidanza flywheels are ALL made in the USA at their facility. Only thing made over seas is their shifters.

I have one on my car. I like it. The throw is better and it just seems more precise. Shifting is a breeze now with it. I had a little issue with the reverse lockout for a bit but I just bent the tab once I installed it and it doesn't pop out anymore. I purchased mine from ebay with no problems.

you guys are 100% right. I used the search button but I was in performance and not transmission. I hit "search this forum only" by mistake. After I posted, I searched like an hour later and hit "all forums" and found what I was looking for.
And yes I should have posted in the tranny forum not performance. I will have to watch that next time.
