Ok I have the new fluid, pan gasket, and filter kit.

I'm getting ready to do all this but have a question

When I'm checking the fluid level by removing that check plug......Do I leave the motor running in park???? Or should I check the level with the car off?????

Ive read 2 manuals and both don't say whether the car is on or off......Thanks

Car is for Sale!Supercharger kit is for sale!

You check the fluid with the engine running, vehicle level, in park and with trans fluid warm(over 100deg F).

You check ALL GM auto trans fluid with vehicle running. If you check it with engine off youll end up with the trans underfilled.
