Having problems with clutch

I have a 96 LD9 with a OEM replacement clutch. I pulled the motor and had the crank turned and new pistons put in due to spinning the rod bearsing. My problem is I have no clutch once puttin the motor back in. I know the process of bleeding the clutch and that is what most ppl have told me to do so far.

This is what it is doing. I push the clutch in and it almost feels like it gets sucked to the floor and just stays there. When the car is running and I open the bleeder valve nothing comes out, not even air. Then when I close it, someone inside has to pump it by hand cause it doesnt come off the floor. I repeat openning the bleeder valve and still nothing. I made sure there was fluid in the clutch resesvoir.

Im pretty stuck guys, I am 95% sure I put the clutch back in right, flywheel then clutch with alignment tool then pressure plate. Noobie ?, can you put the clutch in backwards? The raised part goes away from the flywheel and then you put the pressure plate on right?

In the past when we have installed new clutches it has taking a little bit of work to get a good pedal. We bleed the clutch by doing the following:
2 people, 1 person pumps the clutch in and out 3-4 times on the last time hold it to the floor, while the second person then opens the bleeder valve to let fluid/air out. Close valve then all the first person to pull the pedal back and start pumping, do this over and over until you get a pedal. The most recent one we did took about 10 minutes of this to get a nice pedal.

Thanks John, I guess I just did not do it enough times.
