Clutch/tranny?

I am new here and have been lurking for the past week looking for an answer to my problem. I recently purchased a 97 cavy wit a 2.2. When i originally got the car i had to push the clutch all the way to the floor for it to work properly.

After doing some reading here it seems my clutch needs to be replace. But now i have another problem I can't get the tranny to shift into first with out considerable force needed and it also starting to grind going into third. Are the syncros bad on my tranny as well or is this all because of my clutch? There is 108,000 on the tranny. Sorry if this has been answered b4 i did do a lot fo searching b4 hand.

LUK is a very good stock replacement clutch. I have used a few and never had a problem with them.

LUK is what I put back in my car, but not at Autozone's price gouge of $245ish. LUK clutch for $169!! Surprised I never hear anybody mention Carolina Clutch on this forum.
