We swapped a motor out in my 95 cav with the same motor that was in it put it all back together now when you put the clutch all the way to the floor you can't shift the car into gear with it running. but when its shut off you can. we tried bleeding the clutch and it got a little better any ideas thanks.
I'm having the same problem too... Just haven't had a chance to look into it yet. I'll let you know what i figure out.
I would agree, except the master cylinder in my car maybe has 3000 miles on it. I mean it could have gone bad already, but i don't think it's very likely.
Does the clutch pedal stay down, or spring back up?

mine comes back up, but has a very light feel to it
Slave cylinder, i'm assuming thats what the other guys are saying to when they said master cylinder.
sorry dont mean to thread jack but i dont wanna start another tread.... im having a similar problem i got an 04 cav and all my fluid leaked out, i thought a simple bleed would werk but it didnt....my pedal is stuck to teh floor now after bleeding it a bunch of times.
Car wont go into gear, did my slave cylinder go as well??? when i bleed it i got some pressure back but i still couldnt put it in gear....then when i start it got stuck to teh floor....funny thing is teh night before it felt 100% fine, on my way to werk it felt a little wired then all teh sudden as im on teh highway teh clutch stuck to teh floor.
i checked my fluid and it was empty, im pretty sure it was leaking from teh reservoir where teh hose meets but it was leaking for over a year.... anyway im so pissed off im about to just change teh whole clucth.. any recommendations?? i saw teh exedy kit any one ever use it?? i need help plz!!!
