2002 Z24 cavalier, 2.4L twin cam, 5spd manual. the clutch does not slip, the clutch fluid is full. my problem is that 5th gear grinds. it started over night. it grinds whether you shift normally or double clutch it like my old work truck, (79 Mack MR twin stick) it only grinds 5th gear, not reverse, or 1-4. how do you tell if these trannys are full? not use to FWD cars, i use to own a couple f-bodys, so i didnt see a plug on the side, just a fill on the top.
yea the syncro or the blocker ring is fubar do they make a LSD for this car? if it aint too pricey(like the damn clutch is) i would like to throw it in when i have this thing apart
