So yesterday i take my friend to the airport and when we pull in my car makes a metal on metal grinding sound..like it's coming from the motor..i figure i'll shut it down and see if it's still doing it before i go home..it does.

So i almost get home with no problems..and i get off the exit and it won't go from 1st gear to 2nd..only into fifth.So i start to limp it home.I try rev matching it down into 4th and i get all my gears back,but i still get this metal on metal sound.

Is it my clutch or my transmission..the car is a 97 sunfire with the 2.2..5spd,168k miles and the clutch war replaced by the previous owner around 25k ago.This is my first car with a MT but i know how to drive it,i'm not the best at it but not the worst.
