so i pull into the walmart partking lot about a week ago and my gar jerks and i here a grinding noise. i go pick up my Mt. Dew and come back out i pull out of the parking stall slowly. i put it in 1st and start driving slowly strait no noise i make left circles no noise i make right circle and it starts jerking an making noise again. i drive 25 mph home. i was thinking it might be a left axle. i pull the left axle and its fine. i drain my trans fluid and out comes chunks and metal shavings. you can see threw the axle hole at the spider gears and there completly sheared off! its a 98 2.4 cavy manual.
so what do i do?
do i rebuild?
do i find a used trans?
do i do a eco swap in the car?
Do whatever one you want, but it needs a new trans obviously
