Well my 3rd gear syncro is bad in my tranny so I was wondering if I could use a 01 getrag out of a 2200 car?
I have a 02 ls sport with the ecotec motor. I tried searching but failed finding anything.
And I hear that you can switch out the dif for a storm? I have 2 spare trannys and could swap out bellhousings/difs ect.

i dont believe so but i could be wrong. i think the bellhousing is different

The Storm differential is for the 95-99 Isuzu transmissions. The 2200 transmission will not bolt up to an Ectotec block, the bellhousings are different.

So I could just take the bell housing off my spare 03-05 tranny and put it on the 01?

Yes you can swap bellhousing's and the 2200 getrag will then work with the Ecotec.

I have an eco bell housing, but i need a ld9 bell housing...

can you get the Isuzu trans to bolt up to an eco by changing the bell housing? Or is this a getrag thing?

Isuzu trans will not swap with a Getrag..
