but it sais offset is 42...i cant find tires with a 42 offset only 225/45/17...so does that mean that 45 offset tires wont work on those rims cuz there 42??
You seem to be confused about what offset is. Tires do not have an offset. Wheels have an offset. The "45" in the 225/45/17 refers to the ratio of the tire height to width. The width is 225 mm and the height is 45% of 225 or 101.25 mm.
