215/60/14: What's a good affordable brand of tire?

My Cadillac came from the factory with the optional 215/60/14 tires (same as the 1986-1990 Cavalier Z24), and someone along the way (as usual) downsized them to the standard 195/70/14. When I buy new tires (which I hope won't be in the immediate future), I plan to go back to the 215's, and I'd like to hear input on what brands other people have had and like/dislike and that are affordable (about $80 or less each) that are available in that size (which is becoming less available every year, it seems).

bf goodrich are always a safe bet. i used to work in a garage with tires and such and the people with cadillac's seemed to like them. they always said they rode nice and were quite affordable. but that's just my opinion

Firestone Firehawk Indy 500

I use them during the summer. Check out the ratings on Tirerack. That was one of the choices in a 195-50-15 (not on a j-body) size that actually has some grip in the winter, if I happen to leave them on too long in the fall.

Your size is $66 on Tirerack.
