You could just go to your local Speed Shop and order them. Or Discount Tire Direct.com. Any shop who uses the Keystone part catalog can get them for you.

You just need to know the Cavaliers Hub Diameter (57.1mm) and your aftermarket wheels Hub Bore.

And yes, they are plastic rings that just help the wheel be centered on the hub. You can run without them but you'll have problems with something at some point, for example, I never had problems with vibrations or anything but when I was running my 18" Konigs without the rings I'd always have a stud shear or strip when I took the wheels off. Always. At least I can replace studs fairly quickly now.

Possibly but $40 is WAY too much. I got mine from a local speed shop for $20 and change and I could've even gotten them from DiscountTireDirect.com for $15, according to their website.

Definately read what I wrote above and look elsewhere for them because that place wants way too much.

I already told you not to use that site because they are too expensive! Try calling Discount Tire Direct and seeing what they say.

I wouldn't do that.... and i will say that from experience. Call your wheel manufacturer first and get the ACTUAL hub bore size. Discount tire direct can only get the metal rings in outter sizes in 74mm, 73mm, 72.6mm, and 68mm with the correct inner size for our cars. Even tho they tell you to just provide your car make and wheel manufacturer, that dosn't cut it.... I did this with my Motegi DPK's .. the rings they sent me were too big. I called them up to bitch, and the sales rep Beau ( ex 311) said they didn't carry motegi wheels and "were not sure" so they "thought" the 72.6mm ones would fit. I later got the actual hub size of 70mm right from Motegi themselves. If you look at their ebay auctions they list Motegi wheels as ones their rings fit. I'm sorry but running a business on thoughts and not sures is not professional when people have spent over a thousand dollars on their wheel/tire packages and rely on the rings to fit properly.

I would strongly urge you to take your business elsewheres, as I am STILL waiting for my refund from payment from almost a month ago.

I've had nothing but good luck with dicount tire direct thats also why they ask you to confirm the sizes. Both sets of rings I've had were bought from them, very quick ordering and a decent price.

Avoid the plastic ones if you do any kind of hard driving, autox etc.. they can melt

Question to see if anyone can help.

I called the tire shops here locally and neither sell Hubcentric rings.. So im lookin at going to discount tire in a diff city to get em.. But what are better the metal ones from Discount Tire, or polycarbonate ones from eBay? I like the the fact the polycarbonate mention:

"POLYCARBON RINGS DOES NOT CORRODE, CAUSE RATTLING, OR SHOW SIGNS OF WEAR LIKE METAL! POLYCARBON IS EXTREMELY DURABLE AND FORMS A TIGHTER SEAL BETWEEN THE HUB AND THE WHEEL. THESE WILL NOT MELT, CRACK, OR BREAK OVER TIME UNDER NORMAL USE. SUITABLE FOR STREET AND TRACK USE."

"The Poly Carbon material acts like an "O" ring eliminating corrosion which is a common problem with aluminum hub centric rings"

Also, i have Riax 5G 18" rims, and i need to find out the bore size. I called American Racing/Motegi/Riax or w/e and when i asked the guy seemed unsure when he told me 70mm.. Is there any other way i can find my bore size on the rims?

and again about the hubcentric rings.. do the metal ones rust and cause prob or do they have something on them to protect them from rusting?

As far as where to get them, like I said above, any local speedshop (hell, the dealership my father works at can get them) that uses the Keystone catalog can get them, they will be plastic though, which there is nothing wrong with them.

As for the metal rings, they won't rust if they are aluminum but they will probably oxidize eventually.

The metal ones I have from Discount Tire have surface corrosion on the areas where it contacts the mounting surface. No big deal. I am thinking about going with some plastic or poly ones though, to reduce the possibilities of damage from corrosion on my RPF1's.

The plastic or polycarbonate ones are actually a harder material ( or when put under a hardness tester, score a higher number) than the metal ones, so I'd suggest the polycarbonatw ones anyways.
