I want to upgrade to rims eventually...what is your opinion on the premium rims that come with the LS?
You know, these.
I noticed not a lot of people have these...is it because you want to have a more unique look? I like these, but I imagine they're kind of expensive.
They look really good, I do not think a lot of people here dislike them. I just think most people like to have aftermarket rims. All of the Z and LSsport rims look great when on lowered J's. Id say go for em if you really want to.

yeah. I personally like the ls rims. Go get a set. You seem to like a clean looking car, and those rims are clean on any j-body.
There are two styles of those-- one style is what you have posted above, the chrome. And then there is the machined style. Which I personally think look MUCH better.
Then again, I'm a sucker for a machined wheel...
The offset on them sucks at best.

Alot of people just prefer wheels that are a wee bit bigger. Like the 17-19" range.
Trust me, if the stock wheels came in 17s or 18s, I'd rock em. Hard.
if u are getting the polished ones. i will say. when i used to have them stock. they would shine like a mofo.
theres a set of chromies on CL loacal for $150 im thinking of getting pic makes me want them more.
LS Chromes are win.... i gave up looking for a set local and powdercoated my Z24 rims to make them win
95-99 z > everything else
As far as I know, those Z24 rims are the same style as the hubcaps that came with my car...in which case I don't think they're that great.

I have both sets the chrome when i get tires will be my spring summer. and im just aboutto replace the tires on my machined face ls wheels for winter. im going back somewhat to a semi custom stock look this time. plus she needs a make over lol.
Get some Beretta GTZ or Z26 wheels. Nomnom. Or some z24 vert meshies.
wish i could find a clean set if z26 rims. i found two sets but they were eh. and id love a set of 95-99 zvert honeycombs.

my lss came with the chome 16s, they were bubbling like crazy tho, sold them with 3/4 worn tires for 125 bucks,,, i miss the look but i figured itd be best to get rid of them, they were roughh, im happy with my 17s
eh... i like ls chromes... but i also like 00 - 02 Z24 wheels... they have a bit more flare than the 95 - 99 wheels
