would anybody be interested in a custom fiberglassed instrument cluster with aftermarket gauge kit inside?
no i havent made it yet. thinking of making one if people were interested, just wanted to get my money worth out of it if i did make it!
what would be a fair price for a fiberglassed piece painted with analog gauges?
Can you do a quick sketch on what you have in mind?
i dont have a scanner.... i know what i want to do and i cant explain it lol. it would be a very clean install with slight curves and height's and adding a slight texture and painting factory interior color?
Where would they be located
*****BLAME IT ON THE ALCOHOL*****
where the factory would be.
I tried this with autometer guages and Cyberdyne, had to get almost 1,000 bucks to cover my ass. No one here will spend the money, I gave up, the ones that will will make their own, such as myself and sndsgood, good luck tho
ya, i was thinking i would have to get around 500-600 to do it
i have close to 800 plus into guages.....not all JBO ppl are cheap just saying
RIP JESSE GERARD.....Youll always be in my thoughts and prayers...
ok heres the plan, i bought the gauges..... they are vdo analog gauges white with black trim. im planning on buying the clear plastic piece that goes on your factory cluster and making the gauges form off of that, and my goal is to keep enough clearance off of that to where you can keep your factory cluster installed.
im interested...i have a feeling its gonna be outta my price range though. I am however very anxious to see your idea become physical. I suck at wiring so i have to pay people to do things like this for me.
Almost done... With the roughing in part I will post pics later
Interesting in seeing this.

this is obviously just the frame work of this.... now it needs glassed, filled, primed, painted
this piece does not go deeper than the factory cluster. that way this can be directly bolted on leaving the factory cluster behind.
I like that a lot.
