Hey,
I called Rksport the other day to purchase the sub box. But it was going to be like $700 for the fiberglass back seat box. Then after doing re-search on the org. found out that its simply a cover and nothing more.....So here are my 2 questions?
1. What subs work best in this type of enclouse? Are there such things as "Free Air" subs??? I have Alpine Type Rs (12") right now....would those work with this enclouse or would it sound really off with just this sub box cover?
2. Is there any company out there that can do better then $700 shipped to the shop my car is at now? (a bussiness address)
Thanks for help with these 2 problems!
I can do better than that. Shoot me an email

With the sub box, you still need to enclose it. You'll have to get some mdf and some glass and close up the back half. Then your alpine subs will sound good.
Beat it like it owes you money
From what I was told when I inquired about this enclosure, you could do much better having something custom made locally. You still need to put some time and effort into this and for what you will pay for it you should not have to do anything. Plus, anyone could be at a show and have the EXACT SAME rear seat area as you. Now that would be embarassing for all parties involved (would upset me at least). Most audio shops should be able to hook you up or at least send you to someone who can. I have even had some of the online stores that sell this tell me they wouldn't recommend it over having something done locally. But the carbon fiber one wouldn't be too bad.....maybe.

Yes I do have the RKSport Back Seat Enclosure (thanks Travis
) It is basically just a cover. The boxes do have to be built underneath and behind the rear subs. It's not that big of a deal but time consuming to get the right angles. If you just put the subs in without the box, it will sound horrible.....

sinzofman - Unfortunately, they are not making the Carbon Fiber one anymore. Production of most larger Carbon Fiber RKSport products has been stopped indefinitely.
