I got new carpet, Everything is sanded or fiberglassed. I just have to get the Primer, paint and clear. Getn new seats really soon,
wish I had the patience to do that.
Yeah well see I Love working on my interior, I cant do a thing with the exterior so I have to have somthing to do. Its actually really easy to gutt the interior. took me about an hour to Completely take it all out, dash and all. then took me about another 2 to put the sound deadening down. Over all it was fun. Everything almost sanded. I still have to fiberglass the dash(today) amd fiberglass the reardeck(?) and I still have to fiberglass the rear side pannels with my 5.6 inch tvs in them.
what kind of sound deadening is that? did u just install it or did u do it before? i am wondering bc i want to know how well it works...and how much did it run u 2 do the whole car? i've been wanting to do this, thanks
oh, and i've def. had my car at that stage b4, guttin the interior is fun! goodluck w/ everything
thanks TS, It is Fat Mat, it cost me 100 dollars for 100 SQ ft. It did the whole car but I wish I would have bought another 100 sqft to double up on it. It does work really well tho.
What does that work for? Keeping engine noise down?
Engin Noise, Road noise, Gives you a really quite ride. Vibrations from my subs and speaker, Anything that causes noise. Well worth it Just dont get dynamat. Way over priced.
Try going down to a bare firewall

Honestly I would have, if it wasnt a daily driver. the only thing in the car is the drivers seat. Steering wheel, and Gauges

You ARE crazy.
So is everyone else on this forum, and pretty much everyone else into cars.
I get the same stuff from my family when I do things to my car. "why are you doing that?"
"A muffler? Why? is yours broken?" You know.. the usual. It's all in good fun.
I'll have to post pics of my interior when it's done.. it won't be much to look at, but maybe I can inspire others like your pics inspired me.
