i recently painted my vinyl dashboard white, and the airbag cover blue, and the area around the airbag cover began to peel off. is there any products out there that will strip the vinyl? or should i sand it down? or am i better off just getting a new dashboard vinyl cover from a wrecker??

Try using a power washer at a car wash. My buddy painted his center console lid and the paint got messed up so we used a pressure washer and it got all of the paint off. Just pull it out of the car before you do it.
