I have a 2000 cavalier 4 door, and I need to take off the trim that is on the pillar between the front and rear doors. I'm trying to stuff my 4 gauge wire underneath but it won't fit. Can anyone tell me how to take this off on both the driver and passenger sides? Thanks!
Pull the back seat down. Pull right then left and it will slide out. Yank on the bottom of the seat to pull that out. Than start taking the nuts and bolts off that hold the trim in. If you wanna take it all out then you also have to disconnect the seat belt from the top bolt.
What nuts and bolts? He said a sedan. There are no nuts and bolts.
Are you talking about the trim at the bottom? You're going to have to remove your: A pillar, trim along the back windshield, and B-pillar (remove the seatbelt for this) in that order. Then that trim will pull right off.
ps: all of those pieces just pull off

Yes, I'm talking about the trim on the bottom. Specifically the A pillar, if that's the name for it.. Whichever trim runs along the carpet on the bottom. So I just need to yank on it and hope to not break anything?
Nevermind, I just pulled straight upwards on it, and it inched up enough for me to slide my wiring underneath it. Thanks anyways guys. =)
