ok i am new to the fourms here so sorry if this is asked a thousand times i looked but didnt see much.....
ok i am using some of the fusion paint to paint the inside parts of my car...i am doing the center counsle right now and i have done enough coats till i like the color...but what kinda clear coat and how many coats should/do i need??
Straight from the FAQ:
"The only clear product we have that can be applied over the Fusion is the Krylon Low Odor Clear (gloss or matte). Fusion does not require a clear coat, and many of our acrylic lacquer clear coats can eat through the paint (lacquer is a hot solvent).
Keep in mind the wipe downs and recoat times on the label. If you do desire a clear coat, use one of the Low Odor Clears."
Yesterday I painted a glove compartment cover. I used primer, then 2 coats of black Krylon Fusion. Then I applied Krylon Crystal Clear and it turned out great. No runs, no eating through, etc. Look into Krylon Crystal Clear.
Heh, i used a plastic promoter, and Body panal paint. No runs, no chips, no peels, no stickyness, just a strong smell of intoxicating paint fumes on a hot summerish day.
