proper way to fill cracks on the door panels?

I wanted to know what the proper steps would be if you were going to glass the door panels so that they look like one piece(glassing over the cracks) Did you fill it with resin and let it dry so it becomes even with the rest of the door? or do you just lay the cloth right over the cracks and pull it tight so that it would stays level over the cracks? Thanx.

either pull it tight over it, or I would suggest using body filler to fill it then lay fiberglass over it, that way it wont sag in, and its not just filled so if it cracks away from the plastic, it wont be a problem.
