what is underneath the lower trim panel (dash)?

Cross listed since I wasn't sure what forum to post this in (my apologies)

I have a 99 Cavalier. I was wanting to install speakers in the front corner of my dash near the A pillars (in the exposed portion of the lower trim panel). I have no idea what is underneath this trim panel. I know how to take it out, but was hoping someone had information about this before I went digging into my dash. Are there just wires underneath? Is there some sort of ABS HVAC duct in that area? Will I be able to have any sort of mounting depth there?

Wires, ducts, computers... name it... For the most part Chevrolet vehicles dont waste space. If there is open area in or beneath a panel, Chevy would have filled it already with a box, compartment, or cup holder.

Best thing to do is to take your dash off and look yourself and see what you wanna do.

You're reading my line-break, you are a loser. Lurch <3's the c**k.
