I'm going to start my interior this weekend ... I'm going to the junk yard to get all the parts I need ... but everyone always sands their interior smooth and I really like the texture for some reason sooooooooooooo my question is this ... if I want the texture still on there can I just prime and paint or do I still need to sand????? dumb question I'm sure but ya know I'm new at this lol
You can prime/paint without sanding...Ive done it on my interior parts, so it still has that stock look...but clean up the parts with soapy water before you get started...
I did sand mine down either, Less glare IMO.
And i have silver and black as an interior color.

Ok ... thanks .... that was lots of help now its just finding the dang piece lol
i'm in the process of doing my interior. i didn't sand or primer mine. just cleaning it up and using krylon fusion. i've done the glove box cover so far and it came out nice.
