ok i am sanding my interior to make it look glassy....the problem im having with that is my dash borad and the arm rest on the center console is like soft vinyl...not sure what exactly...but i cant sand it...so what if i used a clear polyurthane? would that harden the surface for me to paint it and give it that glass look? i know it is used on wood and they have polyurthane bumbers and stuff...but it is cheap and much easier than fiberglassing those parts...so i was asking if anybody did this or if ne1 really experienced with polyurthane knows if it would work
you got 95-99 panels.............
SOLUTION:
GET 00-02...... then u can sand down them!
or
Fiberglass

ok that is NOT WHAT I ASKED!!...i am already sanding my panels...but on the 00-02 dash borad and arm rest on the center console is a SOFT VINYL...if i was to use polyurthane on those soft peices would it harden it to give it that glassy look? and if it would work do ipaint b4 or after the polyurthane coat?
