would anyone be interested in custom gauge overlays??
so far i have the one for an 00+ cavy w/o tach
i can make any part any color
i'm just checkin to see how many people would buy one and how much you'd be willing to spend, and if there is enough interest i can start a GP
i can do other overlays, i just need the orig ones to make the custom ones, so if anyone had an 00+ w/tach or any sunfire clusters that are broken that i could have the overlay form it'd be awesome

i have a 95-99 5spd cluster w/ no tach extra just laying around. depends on what your able to do if im interested or not. a guy i use to know had the philly skyline on his cluster going all the way across, it looked hot

id be interested in one for an 00-05 with tach, black back, with blue lighting, and a custom emblem on it.

i have an aluminum bezel for an 02, with tach, if you want, but the deal is that its slightly off... lining up, and where sizes for the holes.... i can send you that!!!
i'm not happy with it, 1st since it id off, and 2nd, it's too thick, and my cluster does not fully click back together.....
if i get a pic, i can show you, but if its lined up with the guide holes, then the turn signal holes are off to one side, the tach hole is slightly smaller than the gap for the speedo, the the hole around the temp gauge is crooked and finally, the odometer's bottom row of the LCD, is covered........
somone was definatly smokin soethin when they made it......
if anything could i have you make me somekind of a bezel, i dunno yet what color, but i did all my custom LED's behind it, and it looks awsome....
maybe i could also have you do somekind of a chevy emblem or something....
My cluster, you CANNOT have, since i need it....
but i can check my junk yard and see if i find one for mine....
i know i saw a couple older styles, and like 4 sunfire clusters....
if you want them i can pick those up for you, and send them to you (for whatever the price of the cluster will be)

well i cant make bezel's....yet, i may try that at some point
as far as the lighting goes, i wasnt really planning on doin that, all i did was change the colors on the overlay so that the light
should shine thru in that color
I should be done in 3 layers.
Front layer with graphic
Middle blackout layer to keep light only on the numbers and not in random areas
Backing layer to set your lighting color.
Getting all 3 layers put together properly aligned and without too much adhesive to get in the way of the lighting is the hard part...
ok here's a question that should have been asked right away: EXACTLY WHAT KIND OF OVERLAYS ARE YOU PROVIDING?
are they gonna be like black cats or are the just gonna be photoshopped images printed out and then just laid over the cluster? if it's the second one, i can't honestly see you trying to take these peoples money. i was doing that for free before. they just had to print it out themselves. i still have the templates for the 95-99 cavalier with tach (tach isn't fully done) and without tach.
if that isn't the case though, i apologize!
