Is there a vinyl tutorial
Wednesday, October 19, 2005 11:00 AM
does anyone know where I can get a tutorial on vinyling the interior, and what is the best adhesive for this project. I need something that can hold up in high heat, cold and humidity. Thanks

Go to yourautotrim.com they have the best spray adhesive that I have ever used, its the silver can with a black top they have a picture of it. Also as for a tutorial, thats something you can't really learn over the internet b/c each piece you do is done a differnt way from the next. Curves, whether you can use staples, texture, location of the piece, there are so many variables when doing this. Every time I haev done something I learned from it and improved the next piece I did.

What do you plan on vinyling?

Watch out for curves cause they suck.

3m 90 will not hold up allot of times either. none that ive tried. only thing from 3m ive got to work halfway decent is their vynal top glue. everything else has come loose and doesnt have enough hold unless your doing something simple.
