yeah i finally figured how to get a good look on my interior, did my door panels today, took me about 1 hr per door, since i had to wait for the filler primer to dry, and so on...its actually way easier wit the filler, u dont have to sand the whole thing down. if anyone want any help with this just send me an email(wonder_mixx@yahoo.com) or pm me, and ill tell u exactly what i did.
here are some pics...
and for those who are wondering wat i used, well i know most of u know wat to use already, but wat the heck...
and for sanding, i used 80, 400, 800, and 1000.

I've been to autozone, pepboys, and advance auto parts and cannot find that filler primer that you have in the picture. Wherre did you get it? and for how much? is it like a spray or something? So far all I've done in my car has been hand sanded. It took me a while to do the center console but I had a spare one so it was no big deal I did it during my off time. well let me know where you got all the paint and filler primer. thanks!

What color blue is that???? That looks like the same paint I used for my interior!
I used Intense blue pearl. I even had a gallon of Dupont mixed to match it to do my
exterior
.
Oh and you can pick up Duplicolor paint in most Advanced Auto and Walmart!
They have some nice colors.
what are all the steps you took? I'm planning on doing that to my interior real soon, so i'd like some help. by the way, it looks really good, nice job.
so it's intense blue pearl? it closeley matches the exterior color of an 02 dark blue?

I dont know if it is Intense blue pearl that he used or not. Thats what i used and it looks very close to that. I know Duplicolor makes like 3 different blues that are very close together. Intense Blue Pearl, Bahama Blue, and Med. Blue are pretty close he could have used any of those. If you like some of their colors you can get it mixed in Dupont.
u only used filler?! or did u FG?

ET0256 T256 Dark Blue (M) thats wat it says on the can, and yeah theres like 3 diff blues that look very alike.

i got that filler at autozone, they should have it there, or even advance auto parts has it. yeah its like a spray but it filles the wholes that the cav's interior comes wit, the design. its way easier than having to sand it all, ofcourse u have to sand, but its not as hard, dont have to put so much presure on it, and i used water the whole time mades it faster and less dustier.

filler is all i used. FG? fiberglassed? no. the filler works perfect, it gives it that fiberglass look, and it feels damn nice, ur fingers actually squeel when u rubb it.

Nice work! I sanded mine until it was perfectly smooth, then i used the same primer, sanded lightly with 800grit, then couple of layers of paint, followed by sanding with 1000 grit, and last a nice think glossy layer of clear coat!
i sanded mine wit 1000 like idk how many times! i wanted it the smoothest it could get.

ui dont think filler will hold up very well in plastic though.... we are talking about the same filler right? (bodyfiller, popularly known as bondo) or are u talking about something else?
^^ are you kidding me, look at the picture. Spray paint filler primer.
Nice job! looks good.
thanx Tom, and no its not bondo lol, its a filler, just like regular primer, but a thicker solution.
