alright so i just finished my interior with base coat clear coat. i ran out of clear and missed some spots, i heard that once you apply clear and it hardens that you cannot add more clear is this true. i was told that it will peal off. the clear has been on for 5 days, so is it to late to hit it again with another coat of clear?
you can add as much clear as you want...i put 10 coats on my interior...wasn't satisfied so about a week later i put 10more.
wat he said ^^^, or u can wet sand it a little with 1000, and then put a @!#$ load on it again.

I put about 5/6 on mine and it came out flawless. Whoever told you that you couldn't, should be hit in the head with a tach hammer cause they are a retard,
yah, well the body shop that sold me the clear said the it has to be applied when the paint is tacky. he said that if i wait till the paint fully dries the clear wont last, down the road it will peal off.
if it is exterior base/clear, then sometimes flash coats are required for proper bonding. that is correct. on interior applications though, if it is from a spray can, you should be fine.
