Well here the deal. In the pic below of my dash, it looks all pretty and such. However is there anyway i can either make it completly smooth where the striker is or do i have to have it like that regardless? Its just one of those things that bug me every once in a while.
Maybe the latch is a little old and wore out and has slack in it. Does it push up any after it's shut? Nice speaker placement too.

Mine is like that too... I've always thought it was meant to be like that.

Nope, that is where its supposed to be. I know most people just paint that metal strip, but i like it polished, i just wonder if any other sunfires have it straight across instead of like that, bump thing.
And thanks jacob, those speakers are removable for those cold days too.
yea mines like that also. I was thinkin of puttin a pop out screen in there like i can pop it out, pull it out and flip it up like a laptop kinda and then be able to shut the glove box...
