o_O Thats the biggest shifter I have EVER seen. Its bigger then the e-brake, lol
Sorry forgot to paste the text.
It's a factory boot from an earlier sunfire.
The support wire at the base covers up the shift indicator. It took awhile to get it to fit around the plastic if I cut it, it might not stay put.
I'll prob just try to find one from a stick.
It does look better then the black pole.
^^^^^^^^^^
thats the way its SUPPOSED to look
yours wouldnt be so bad if you just
put it over the outside part of the PRND321
sndsgood wrote:heres one i made for my fire, black vinyl it will fit around the piece okay, its a very tight fit, but once its in it wont come out on you as long as u make it long enough. it cost me 15$ for a yard of quality vinyl and about an hour to do it right, took me a couple tries, but it was still worth the time.
Are those black and white seats with black/silver interior?? If so do you have many more pictures? I was wondering if the colors would all blend well together so if you have any other angles in there I'd love to see them.
Not to derail the topic or anything
yea sndsgood has a done a nice job.
this is the shift boot in my cougar
hey thats awesome "J to Envy" how did u do that...just pop out hte "prdn32" stretch it around it and then snap the piece back on? isnt it to much materail will it still go back on? ...if u have any directions etc that would be aweseome although i don want to use a stock boot...i duno if that matters....
thanks..
Cool, I think I'm gonna do that. Can I just ask for the boot at a Chevy dealer parts desk? Also, how do I get the PRND21 plate off?
you need to unbolt the whole center console 4 (7 or 8 mm) bolts two at the bottom of the storage one under the power window or a cup thing if you dont have power windows one hidden under a cover tab thing just below the HVAC controls
