Color advice for my interior
Tuesday, January 10, 2006 5:25 PM
I want to paint the interior of my Cavalier. The outside is purple and I plan to keep the original color and maybe a graphic but prolly not. Anyway, I want to add some color to the interior other than black. I think white looks tacky, so I'm staying away from that. I was thinking about getting some racing seats, maybe red, for some reason I think they would look better than blue. Anyway ,if anyone has a purple Cav or Fire with the interior painted, post me some pics so I can get the ideas flowing. By the way, I'm actually partially color blind, so I'm going to have someone else help me with this. I can see colors, but some I just can't distinguish they sort of run together.

i say accent the inside with the same color as the outside (purple )
and as far as racing seats to go with the scheme, go for black, or if you wanna spend the dough, have them wrapped in a suitable matching color

I thought red seats in a purple car would look terrible too until I saw a Nissan Skyline that was purple and it had red Bride Brix seats and it looked pretty nice.

I've given serious thought to just painting my car black but all my friends in the VR4 club drive black cars and I figured since I'm already driving the illegitimate stepchild, I might as well be really different and drive a car that doesn't look like Darth Dader.
