^>>> pleather maybe ? lol phone a local shop and find out a price on materals then labor leather is not cheap and shops use a high end sewing machine a normal sewing machine wouldn't push though the leather thus it cost more to have it done

cheapest ive see for leather kits r round $800! dont think that includes shipping but not sure.
Well I found a site that has real leather kit(Door panel, front/rear seat and headrests) for 650 with tax and free shipping. But I wanted to completly change my interior to look stock-ish by using better materials on the surfaces. I still havent found pictures tho.

Put it this way, my two bucket seats cost me 600 to be wrapped.. Haven't even done the back seat yet. I wish I could afford to do the doors.

I say save up for it man!
It all depends on how much you care about modding your car.
What I mean is, do you want to take it to an award winning level?
Or just something simple, no big wow factor.
I wish this hobby was cheep
Here’s a little incentive.
Yes that is very true actaully.
Definitely depends on the quality of the install.

Hey James,
I'm also doing my own seats.. I've just took the passenger side seat out today and taking it apart .. I'm going to be using vinyl .. It's way cheaper than leather and some styles look and feel very much like leather
let me know what you are up to with the progress on your seats
well so far i went to fabricland and got the electric blue tarp like cloth and black do have any idea of the looks i got in a women's fabricstore !! looking for fabric lol. Well so far i've learned this (p.s. i'm sure theres better ways but i'm not a pro!) that said you can buy a knife with a needle at the end of it it cut the threds holding the sewing together once ALL the sewing is cut out, lay out your pieces out on top and chalk out your new pieces with a extra 1" are so more To have a seamless area. fold two pieces and sew behind the fold. Theres also going to be what they call hog rings there little half hoops that hold rods in tight to the seat and the rods have cloth over and round the rods to the inner seat(helps the seat and cloth look tight) to remove those i used two sets of needle nosed visegrips you can buy a tool call a hog ring clamp it makes it eazyier to remove and reset them. To sew in a good line theres a tool for that as well i don't know the name of it but its a wheel with like ten sharp needles and you run it up a chalk line it cuts the holes for you that way your sew is dead on right now i have the back seats done next is the front then the roof liner then the doors after glassing them (adding 10" subs there) oh expect the fingers to hurt! pics are in the works
