how do I remove the radio area dash panel.

I need to swap a deck for a better one I got used for cheap. I heard this play alot before and the one in my car cant play cds without skipping when I kit a reflector or a little piece of gravel.

I dont know how to get to the radio, and would like to get some know how before I start. I think the front just snaps off, but im not sure and dont want to make a big ooops and break stuff by forcing.

quick responses would help, since I would like to get it done this evening.

thanks.

yea you have to take the top of the dash off because the bezel has a bolt right above the 2 center vents and 1 right above the drivers side vent. when i took mine out, i never put them back in so now mine is just snapped in and its easy to remove

1 bolt on passenger and 1 bolt on driver side (remove plastic panel)
remove 2 bolts up inside glove box on metal strap, holds dash near air bag.
remove torx head screw/bolts that hold dash to glove box
remove phillips head screw in dash vent
remove 2 bolts under dash vent
lift gently, dash unsnaps from remainder

remove top of steering column cover (plastic)
remove bolts from radio bezel where dash cover unsnaps (3 i think)
remove 3 bolts for radio

thats about it
