Hey guys I was just trying to take my door panels off to put new speakers in and I cant get the window cranks off please help
either go to a parts store and pick up a window crank removing tool or use some sort of towel or rag thin enough to pop the clip out.
What do I just pull hard enough to pop it off or is there a clip in there that I have to pull out
There's a metal clip holding it in. If you pull back on the crank some and push in on the panel just a little bit you can see the metal clip.
we need to sticky the answer to this cuz its asked at least once a month
i ran into this problem when i went to paint my car.....my dad pulled out a rag and removed it in like 5 seconds after i fricked with it for about an hour and gave up...i was like wtf. Definatly this should be sticked
I jammed a flathead screwdriver into the panel and used that...
