hey guys... i did a search for this, came up with a post that said you need a torx bit.... anyone know what size torx bit this is right off hand?
car is a 94 but i guess the seat belt bolts are all the same.. i'm buying new sockets tomorrow and i'll need to buy a torx bit that will fit my seatbelt bolts. sorry for the newb question i thought my buddy lent me the right one but it wasnt big enough. so im gonna buy my own anyway

not positive on 1st or 2nd gens, but 3rd gens use a T47 torx for seatbelt bolts. hope that helps you out
cool thanks, i will try that. Canadian Tire has a 6-bit torx set that they sell..... i'll look into that, if the T47 won't fit hopefully one of the other 5 will
might as well buy the set i guess.

T50 for more recent J's, don't know if it's the same for you!!
^^mines an 03 and it was a T47
T47 but a T45 will work IN A PINCH. I wouldn't use the T45 if I could avoid it though. Just get a nice breaker bar and maybe a pipe extension and break those boogers loose. Just on't break anything else in the process.

swapping in some fold-down seats from my Sunbird into my Cavalier! gotta get the seat outta there then do some cutting to remove the X brace and try to keep it neat

my t55 wont fix on my brake calipers so i have no idea if their is a size smaller because t50 is too small.
1) Where the heck did a comment about brake calipers come in?
2) I seriously hope that was a misprint.
3) Brake calipers use a allen key...not a torx bit. Just looking would have to you that.
