Could any of you who have used a HVLP gun for their interior please give me a little direction. I already have an air compressor, but I have no idea what kind of gun to buy. I don't want to spend hundreds on the gun because I wont use this too many times once I finish the interior. Any help or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

I have not used one, but I've been told by a few people that you can get a cheap one @ wal-mart and that will work fine. The biggest thing with those is to make sure that you clean it when your done.

personally, id just buy a cheap one from Harbor Freight or something of the like, since you wont be using it more than a few times, and dont have the needs from a gun that someone who uses it regularly would need. just my $0.02
i got a Bevilbiss Finishline 3 and i got it for 99$ .. its a REALLLY good gun for the price.
if your going to just use it a few times see if you can find someone to barrow one from. any decent gun is going to run you a few hundred dollars. Just about anything SATA or Devilbiss is quality. On a scale of economical/performance i really like the SHARP T1 Titanium, 200bux is pretty cheap for a quality gun which the T1 is in my opinion. In the future if you are looking for a nice professional gun check out the SATA RP. I use it every day and wouldnt use another gun period.
I use a craftsman from sears and it sprays great. just make sure what ever you get you keep it CLEAN!
I bought a gun off the Matco tool truck for about $150, I believe it was a Sharp. I've been spraying Indigo Blue metallic through it and it's working great. Like everyone else said, when your done painting, make sure you spray some paint thinner through your gun till it sprays clear. You'll also have to learn how to mix the right amounts of hardener and reducer with your paint.
sndsgood - I would do that, but I take a little pride in the fact that everything in or on my car was done by me. I may stick with the Fussion paint I have on now, but I just wanted something that better matched my car... and you never know when you might want to paint something else
everyone else - Thanks for all the advice, I'm gonna hit some stores this weekend and see what I can get my hands on. I'd like to keep the price to $100 or at least close. Should I go for the gravity feed or something else?

well i'm thinking your going to do a paint job outside of a spray booth. Make sure you have a area with no wind are dust and use a water filter on any gun you buy. get a cheap gun not a $1,000 gun. a walmart gun is good for starting out learn how the valves work and diffrent spary settings/ pressures etc.

i pride myself on the fact i do almost all my work as well. but nobody can be perfect at everything and you gotta step back and let someone else do parts if u want it to be great looking. if you really want to go it all. then spend the money on a good gun or chances are down the line after youve painted some youlle go out and buy a better gun because u will learn the one u have isnt that great. if thats the case, i'd head to like ebay and try and find a good used gun perhaps like a sata.
