i'm gonna atempt to glass my door panels this weekend. just wondering if anyone could tell me how much material i would need. i've never messed with the stuff before. i know i need the mesh, hardner, kitty hair, and the resin. just dont know how much. preciate the help.
I glassed both my door panels, and went through between 1.5 - 2 big things of resin. I went through 3 packages of mat, but i had an area I had to fill. I'd say 2 packages of mat would be good. Pick up like 4 extra tubes of mekp hardener for your resin, what they give you wont be enough. I didn't use kitty hair, but I went through a gallon of Bondo Filler. Hope that helps.

Well, first time glassin so I'm sure I'll learn. I think part of the problem too was that the resin built up on my measuring cup, so I wasn't getting as much resin as I thought, but still applying the same amount of hardener.
