When I turn the headlights on in my 96 cavy and hit a bump the go off. I have to push the signal switch forward and hold it there to get them back on. I know its a short but has anyone ever had to install a new switch. It has the headlights,turn signals and dimmer switch no cruise. I can do engie work but never have had to replace this before. Any help.

That switch isn't very hard to change... 2 screws and a couple harnesses after you take off the steering column shroud. You can find them on ebay with cruise for like $65 and without for like $55 brand new.
