I have a 5 speed MT Cav .. and find trouble looking for a MT tach cluster. .. and when I do there expensive ... So my question is if I by an automatic one... I want to replace it with the white face MT they sell on ebay ... would ... the P R N D 3 2 1 still show tthrough the lit cluster... I havent tried .. but will anyone know. ... I wouldnt want that to go through ... what can I do?

you could put electrical tape over the prnd321 since you're using a whiteface anyway, you'd never even know it was there.

You should be fine. The lights for the PRND321 are in cylinders that block it off from the cluster lights. Since the indicators for the gear position are activated by a signal from the tranny, yours wouldn't be lighting up. Also, if you're getting an electroluminescent gauge face, you can pull the lights out of the back of the cluster anyway, since they won't be needed.
