I have a friend with a 2000 coup and his window sounds like it is off track or the gears are shot. It is a manual door crack. The window is about half way down we can push it down with some force but we can't pull it up past the half. and when we turn the crank it just make a noise like when you grind your gears on a stick shift..... Should I pull the door apart and see if I can set it back on track or should I try and replace the regulator? And if I should replace the regulator then could some one give me a part # please. (BTW I did do a search for this and went through 40 pages of windows related posts but nothing on stuck or bad window gears\regulators.
