i have a 99 sunfire and i was wondering if i could put a cavalier cluster in my car. i wanna make the light blue but as most of you know with the sunfire there is a red film on the back of it. iwas just wondering what year if any would fit in my car and work properly

The 95-99 Cav clusters are not as wide as the Sunfire cluster. You would have a gap on either side, unless you glassed your bezel to fit it properly. The 00+ ones should fit physicly, but I don't know that they would be electonicly compatible. You may want to checkout Speedhut, as they do lots of custom overlays.

95-99 and 2000+ are not electronically compatible due to the theft system being part of the cluster itself in the earlier ones and part of the BCM in the later ones. Unfortunately, you're pretty much stuck using a Sunfire cluster.
