I just went to the junkyard and removed the interior door handles and lock handles. I destroyed about 6 sets trying to get them off, without breaking anything. Any tricks-tips on this. The panel was removed, it is the small plastic piece that sits around and behind the handle mechanism. It is riveted on one side and some sort of clips on the other

its riveted on. just use a screw driver or punch and a hammer and knock it out then becareful taking the rods off not to bust the plastic things that attach to the rods
