hey i just picked up a set of corbeau clubmans for my cav.

my question is, they used to be a graphite color, but now they have faded to a purple-ish graphite which looks purple in certain light....

is there anyway i can dye the seats black? or back to the graphite? and NOT end up with the back half of me black whenever i get out of the seats. im going to south carolina, so it will be warm and humid (if thats any concern)

me personally i'd have them rewrapped. my corbeaus are. i just wouldnt trust dye on something your constantly in contact with.

good plan. what did you get yours wrapped with? and how much did it cost? trying to get an idea so i can fit that in.

mine is wrapped in vynal and suede. cost was around 800 would have been around 100-1200 if i went with leather versus vynal. but every shop is diffrent , ive seen shops charge more and do a worse job and ive seen some shops charge less and do a good job. just check around.

seat dye will eventually where off like (sndsgood) said your always going to be in contact with the seat, and i know this from past experience.I just got my 2 front seats done in a white vinyl with blue fabric down the middle.From my point of view the seats look alright.Check out my profile and their is a pic of my seats.
