Sunfire HVAC Cavalier Lighted?

Ok something has been bugging the pissoutofme for a long time now and I was in anewer sunfire the other day and noticed that thier motor off switch is on the fan speed switch.....the way it should be now like on the cavalier where off is an option on the direction of the heat knob anyways my question is without swapping everything lighted to sunfire so its red is there a way to somehow have this fan off function on the cavalier lighted HVAC? any ideas?

the off selector like that on the 03+ cavs and sunfires and if you want it to light up red just buy some #74 leds from vled.com or oznium.com

i think what hes trying to do is make it so the fan would shut off with the fan speed control instead of the vent selection knob.... right???

exactly sorry my keyboard is alittle busted atm i want to make the fan motor shutoff on the fan speed control knob....like ina sunfire only keep it lookinglike it belongs ina cav

then get one out of a 03+ cav they are the same as the 03+ sunfires which have the "off" on the fan speed selector. not sure if they are plug and play though

The off posistion on my 97 Sunfire is on the posistion switch also... not the fan speed switch... I thought that was strange when I bought my car too.

You could always just disable to lowest speed setting... but that would be kinda half assed.

They probably arnt plug and play.... but if the vaccum controls work the same for the vent doors..... you should be able to make it work by moving wires around if you know what your doing.
