18's finally on the fire

got 'em on like, two weeks ago, I need a pro-kit next. The tire are bridgestone fuzion, 225/40/18. they're great; even in the rain. I thought they slowed my car a little, till I ran lancer... he he he..

umm this is not the official law of the world. Stock height may not look as good, but it rides better than any dropped car. the untrained tuner eye wouldn't even notice. sooo 98% of people won't notice. but 98% WILL notice rims.....

Its the rule that keeps the car from looking retarded

Why is it about what others will see? you build the car for yourself. no one cares if you have rims on your sunfire or not.

wow you have no clue what your talking about. my car rides BETTER than stock. any dropped car w/ the proper setup will run better than stock. the handling is better, the cornering is better, if the struts are adjusted right then you wont feel any bumps in the road. the untrained tuner eye?? it sticks out like sore thumb its the first thing to get noticed.

I do know what I'm talking about. I agree that a j-body with the proper drop looks better than stock height, I'm not disagreeing with that. All I'm saying is that I've never heard anyone who isn't into cars say "That cars looks awesome, but it needs a drop" ... because it won't happen, only people who are into cars notice stuff like that. I think rims is an appropriate first mod.

rims look good. a drop will add alot to it but still looks nice as is. as for what everyones talking about, personally id drop it first, i like the look of low cars. and i cant say for people who are not car enthusiasts, but it is quite noticable to me when a car has larger rims, such as yours, and isnt dropped, only because its makes the car appear taller and look funny, but none the less, still an approvement from stock i would say. so nice job, im done rambelling
