So, I know lots of you don’t like the snow, but up here in Montana, I really don’t like the snow. True, my Sunfire is totally stock on the outside but I still don’t like it cause its cold, hard to drive in and you have to scrape it off the car. Well it started snowing today and so instead of letting it all add up, I figured I would scrape some off before I had to do it in the morning.
***Sorry in advance for the bad photos and self portraits***
So, I gathered my trusty tools and went at it.
Dude on a mission, or just out to make a funny self portrait (I’m going for the later)
I recently acquired a new scraper and brush…
This brush is really nice cause it has a double bladed scraper on the back end and it worked amazingly well.
I did have the trusty normal scraper just in case.
My car before
My first goal was to get so I could open a door and get my bigger coat.
Just enough to get inside. Amazingly the door didn’t freeze close too much. For some reason it really likes to do that.
I got in the car and got my warm winter coat.
I think it’s bullet proof too. I don’t know though, haven’t tried it out yet and don’t plan to.
Half way done - YAY!!!
Now all I had left was to scrape the ice off her.
All Done and ready to get more snow dumped on her.
Now the annoying thing about my neighborhood is that the only way to get out is up this big hill. I tried to get a pic of it but the flash didn’t work good in the snow. While I was getting the snow off my car I watched as 4 different trucks tried to get up the hill. Only one made it. So basically in the morning if the plow doesn’t come, I don’t go anywhere. The good thing though is that the FWD do quite a bit better than RWD and trucks. It’ll be interesting though cause it’s my first winter with her.

I agree that'd be awesome - I want a garage but I don't think thats gonna happen.
Maybe i can make a car port out of PVC tube and tarp, hmmmm.....

Well it is about 2 and a half hours since I first brushed all the snow off and I look outside and it is back to the way it was. Stupid snow.

Yeah its nice, to be able to start the car when you forgot your coat in it the night before the first snow.
Warm that bad boy up before you got to run out there and attempt to pry the door open after it has frozen shut.
Snow = Tha Poo

here's an idea i thought up of. rather than having to remove the snow after it snows, why not spend a few bucks and get a car cover that covers the whole vehicle. then when you have to go somewhere, back home from work or mall(desperate?), or eleaving home, you could just remove the cover and voila, snows off the covers and off the car! might be a bit more muscle if theres a large amount of snow though, but you get the picture. im thinking about using that technique when snow falls here in lancaster, pa(already did once and it was harsh). just an idea
Dear @!#$, that's not really you is it?
